My daughter has been askd to produce wedding invitations (shes very arty and has MA) but does anyone know if or how you can print from your PC in silver.

Light Greyish Silver is about best from domestic printers in my experience.
Is that a special cartridge or just from the normal colour cartridge
Hi Plotter,
If you have an inkjet printer - then silver will just be a light grey colour - and it won't have a shiny surface
However, in the past when I've needed to print something special - and only if you have a laser printer - then you can buy a silver overlay film that you run through the printer along with the paper or card.
The heat from the laser printing process "bonds" the silver foil onto the paper - either directly or in a second process where the foil sticks on top of the black printing
If you don't have a laser printer - and the silver sublimation foil was expensive - then it might be better to take the finished artwork on a memory stick to a jobbing printer.

Colour printers use Black and then three primary colours to make all the other colours so Gold and Silver are not an option.
