Problem with Powrtouch Motor Mover

I recently installed a Powrtouch motor mover on my caravan. All went well with the installation and I moved the caravan out of storage. It operated correctly going right, left, forward but when I wanted to reverse into storage it wouldn't work and now won't move at all. I checked all the wiring and all seems satisfactory. The caravan battery is new and fully charged. I tried remapping the remote but this made no difference. Plugging in the lead from the control box to the remote also had no effect.

When I turn the unit on via the isolator switch I can hear the control unit click but after about 5 seconds there is another click as it switches itself off. When first turned on LED "A" is a steady green and LED "B" is red. After about 5 seconds "A" starts to flash and "B" goes out. The remote control has it's speed meter on but if I press any of the movement keys this goes out. I haven't tried a new battery in the remote but if this is flat then surely the "emergency" lead would make it work? (I removed the handset battery before trying this).

Does anyone have any suggestions - I've emailed PowrTouch but have had no reply yet.

Can't really help you on this one but Powrtouch are usually very good, so if you have not had areply within the next day, give them a call. E mails can sometimes get lost.

So did Powertouch respond and was your problem solved? If so how?
The beauty of a forum site has to be sharing experiences and information /solutions to enable fellow membersto overcome similar problems

After a lot of to-ing and fro-ing (which was quite understanable as they wanted to cover all the bases), Powrtouch agreed that the control box was faulty. A new one arrived Wednesday and I fitted it - the system now works satisfactorily. Full marks to Powrtouch for their service.
