Is anyone else having difficulty accessing this forum? At present I am finding it almost impossible to enter by going via the PC home page or even by using the link http://www.practicalcaravan.com/newforums/fm_forums.asp. I am getting a message that the page cannot be shown. The only way I can get in is to use a link to a specific thread, taken from the browser history and work backwards from there.

Hi Lutz

Had this problem last three days.

Six times I refreshed today. Makes no difference which way I go in ie direct to forum or via main site.

I suspect Lord Hezza in his infinite wisdom , when sacking all his IT guys on the new website forgot that someone still has to maintain the old one . LOL!!

Cheers

Alan

Thank god I thought a virus had penetrated Nortons superior firewalls only to discover I had access to all other sites, so looks like Practical have a duff server with a intermittent fault, wondered why all the forums are very noticable absent of the usual comments.

Had the same problem saturday - too busy with Christmas decorations to even try yesterday - but no problems today. Server down I was told.

Lutz,

Similar probs here too, even early this morning.

We have no probs loading PC site, but have to try a few times before the forum will load.

I gave away my loose change to the Sally Army and Lord Hezza won't give anybody a sub.

Seriously though I emailed forum admin but they're busy at the moment.

Sometimes you can get access after a couple of tries.

I've had this prob for the last couple of days. I emailed Nigel Donnelly half an hour ago, and the prob has gone away!

Now, who do I email to get the NHS put right???????

Had the problem myself yet checking the front page of the site there was no mention the forum site was closed yet went onto the motorhome site and it told about the forum being updated. Would have been nice to let us know
