Propane gas

At present and ever since we started caravanning I have used butane gas in my caravan. About 10 years ago I changed one of my 7kg for a 6kg Calor propane but have never used it. My question is will the gas still be ok after this time and will it be ok with the current Truma regulator? I have the LH thread adaptor for the cylinder but has the top of the propane cylinders now changed to the same push on fitting as butane?

Thanks in advace for your replies,

Clive S

The fitting is still the same as it was, the left hand thread.I wouldn't think the gas would have deteriorated, I had one for four years as a back up only using it when the main one ran out.
