Pub sites- anyone been there?

I'm planning my summer hols, and as usual, plannnig to stop at pubs as much as possible. This year, I'm travelling to Dorset again, but via SW Wales. The pubs I plan to use are;-

Baron of Beef, Bucknell, Shropshire

Dolaucothi Arms Punsaint, Caramarthenshire

Sun Inn, Haverfordwest

Three Magpies, Seend, Wiltshire

I was hoping to stop at the Carpenters Arms, Swindon, but on enquiring, have not taken caravans for five years.

Bowling Green, Bromsgrove Ta, Norman

ps- has anyone stopped in the site in the centre of Cardiff?

Scouser, I am familiar with the Three Magpies at Seend but always stay at the C&CC site [called Devizes in their sites list]which is about 100m away. From a casual glance there appears nothing wrong with the site and the pub itself is really good but very busy and popular at Bank Holidays etc.

A good area to visit with the Calne lock system rising to Devizes on the canal - which is good for a stroll.

Bri- I use that site quite a lot. Some of the pubs I've asked for information on do not feature there. However, I maintain a database here;-

It's a forum for caravanners (like me) who like to park up in a pub, and stagger a small distance back "home"

There are nearly 400 pubs in mainland UK currently on it- as I find them, or hear of their demise, I update the database. I try to plan my trips using pubs- they are invariably cheaper than proper sites, although most have no hook up.
