My granddaughters puncture was to the side of the tread so wouldn’t have been deemed repairable. The chap that fitted the temporary repair actually had some sort of “she called it a drill” but it was probably reamer. I wonder if he’d used it in a repairable area of the tread whether the hole left would have been within the limits of a BS vulcanised repair.
