Purple Line Caravan Mover

Has anyone out there purchased a Purple Line Enduro Caravan Mover?. I am trying to find out how good they are. I have been offered one fitted for £750.00. Is that good? Do they work well?

Please come back... Rev D.

Yes I fitted one to my van last year and it works fine although I don't have experience of any other makes so can't really say whether it is better or worse. The only drawback I've found is that it takes quite a bit of winding to engage the rollers onto the wheels so I use a powerful cordless drill to do the job. Mine was quite a lot less than you paid,

I've had mine over a year now and fitted it myself. It works fine for me but I don't have any experience with other models. I only paid

There are some makes that do a version that does not have to be hand cranked - I believe the whole operation of engaging and driving is done from the remote control - but I don't have any experience this, and of course it is more expensive.

Manual cranking is no problem anyway, unless you have a bad back or something, and is little effort when you consider how much easier it is then to park the van with the mover.

I have a manual Enduro, which works fine, and is brilliant when parking in a tight situation - also works like a brake to keep the van under control when descending a hill. The only problem is some slippage of the rollers on the tyres when negotiating a resistance.
