it depends on wether your insurers insist that they are fitted or not , or even if its insured and if you dont mind it being knicked.

I'm not quite sure what you're after here - most insurance companies insist on some form of security, but you'll need to check your policy. If it's information on these particular items, then I've had a Saracen hitchlock for 4 years and it worked OK until last year when the tubular lock started to be difficult to operate and I had to replace the lock at a cost of £20. Purpleline were not particularly sympathetic to my complaint about the lack of longevity for their locks, but it was cheaper to replace the lock than buy a different hitchlock.

I use the excalibur wheelock and can recommend them - easy to fit and recommended by my insurance company.
good piece of kit .

The Excalibur wheel lock is easier to fit than the Alko when using the Alko receiver as the piece that goes between the alloy wheel spokes is narrower and so alignment is not so precise
Towsure persist in their catalogue in stating that the wheel chock is not included when in fact its an integral part of the Excalibur receiver for use when no Alko receiver is fitted or on the offside of the van where it is not normally fitted
