We have traded our van while we wait for our new one to be built. Today my other half said you did take the hitchlock receiver of the hitch, this is what a Gullwing lock locates on. Of course the answer is no, so ring Purpleline and they will supply a replacement. No they won't only a complete new unit. Even rang the dealers to see if they had our old van still on site, as it went of their website at the end of last week. Of course its gone so thats £90 for another new one when we pick up our new van.
Still a little peeved that you can't buy the plate as a seperate item!!
 
We have left all sorts in the caravans we have sold despite searching to make sure it was empty. I think we have all done something like that in our time.
 
So true went to collect our new coachman and the dealer said I had to buy a new gas pigtail before he could show everything working. So out to the old van removed the pigtail and fitted it to the new van, he was a bit miffed.
