We visited about four years ago, it is a fab day out for everyone. A medieval village, and something resembling the collaseum in Rome where they have live lions supposedly going to eat Christians tied up at stakes! (I'm sure there were tranquiliser guns somewhere!)The audience is protected by huge bars that come up at the sides, and a lake with high tech fountains which you could mess around with from a control board at the side -we didn't see everything, the jousting contest and destruction of a medieval tower were particularly memorable - take sun hats and cream the colleseum is open! have a great time

We are 2 old wrinklies and we have been to Puy du Fou for the night show and also the day show in that order. We enjoyed the night show more but we did not know what to expect and we don't speak French but it did,nt matter. You have to book the night show in advance as it is so popular and if it rains you might not enjoy it so much. The day shows are also magnificient and we enjoyed the visits more than our visit to Futoroscope.

Food is available but a bit expensive but you will have a great day out if you go.
