Hello Sprocket
Yes I have seen the sale and wondered what the awnings are like,I am hoping somebody will have one and can give an opinion, the only thing that I know is that they have their own design of pegging system.

I had no idea they had gone into administration - such a shame to see yet another company going down.but might explain why I've had no reply to the email I sent them several days ago.
I currently have one of their porch or 'mini' awnings which is easy to put up on my own and has lasted well considering I bought it used some years ago. My only problem is one of the fibreglass poles was been splitting and I emailed to see if a replacement was still available as, apart from that, the awning is brilliant and great for weekends.
I've also had their Pyramid tuscany full size awning and it was very strong, easy to put up and well made so can only recommend their products.
Really is too bad if they fold - hopefully someone will take over and keep the business afloat.

We also had a Tuscany awning for our old van. The quality was great for the price. The instructions were a bit unclear and it seemed to come with too many poles but I can also recommend them. It wasn't an Isabella but neither was it in excess of a thousand pounds! I'd get another. Hope they find a buyer for the company; can't understand why they have gone into admin.

Hi Woodsieboy
We bought a Pyramid Corsican awning late last year and we only managed to use it for the first time in April this year.
Like a previous post, we found the instructions a bit ambiguous to start with.
The pictures of certain poles didn't match up to the actual poles and as a result it appeared that I was missing some poles. Hence, I had no awning on the first night. That said, new dawn, new day I managed to work it out and it went up surprisingly easy.
The second time I put it up, it was up in a matter of minutes (well, not quite). I found the plastic pegging system fine with what I think is Pyramids own design. This was on Penryhn Bay on Anglesey where it blew a gale one night and the awning stood fast. However, I manage to break a plastic clip in my haste to tension the awning. A phone call to them when I got back meant that in a few days they'd sent out a replacement.
I've since bought a second hand Isabella awning from eBay which I used for the first time last week. Like Mel said, Pyramids are no Isabella's but for the price, I am more than happy with the Pyramid awning as was the price I paid for it.
It would be really sad if Pyramid go under, their customer service was great and I do like perusing their web site.
Hope this helps.

Hi we had a pyramid tuscany,

The awning seamed good value for its money however the only problem we had was the easy locking poles which I found once tensioned did not quiet hold the the poles in place. Over a couple of days they would slowly ease off tension & compress in. this was exagerated in windy conditions which meant I had to retension every other day to keep the canopy taught. Unlike isabella you could not tighten the clamp adjuster so in the end we sold it.

The instructions and pole assembly details are sown inside the awning below one of the side windows.

Hope this helps
John
