Has any one got one, would you recommend them, are they as easy to use as Pyramid say they are. Heard some good reviews, however our local dealer said they wouldnt go near them with a barge pole.

Is there any other quick to erect porch awning recommended for short stay weekend use.

Hi Chris

I'll try and get whole message this time!!

Whilst I do not own a PDQ from Pyramid, I have had another porch awning from them and to be honest the quality is appalling. Bought new last August, used for 10 days, packed away dry. Used this April mudwall ripping from main canvas. Emailed Pyramid who responded take it to local repairer, thanks. Used it again week ago and pole splintered, managed to patch to use for our holiday but would never touch a Pyramid product again. I'm afraid it's a case of paying cheap and getting rubbish.

have only just read this one. we had a pdq porch awning. used it twice -once in rain..leaked the whole time from just about everywhere.. pole splintered on second occasion. also when we got the thing to go up would not lie against the side of the van for love nor money.... needless to say we left ours in a skip in wales. a complete waste of money...
