Hi again
My Wayfarer on a 1997 Boxer Chassis has very quiet indicators which dont always turn off automatically and I dont always notice. I think if you were using the vehicle on a daily basis you would get used to it.
So has anybody any easy remedy as in extra flashing light where i can see it easier or a buzzer of sorts.
Thanks for any advice
Dave

Can't answer that problem although it's one I have much sympathy with but there is an indicator problem I would appreciate any advice on....it concerns the (stupid) Ducato idea of having the indicators flash a few times when you merely brush the stalk. It's especially annoying when you can't use the headlamp flasher/dip without triggering the indicator. On a recent trip over Woodhead Pass I must have driven the guy behind quite mad because on at least three occasions when I operated the dip switch the indicators flashed because I hadn't kept the switch dead centre. I would like to disable the "lane change" idea altogether....it's a b****y nuisance. Can it be done?

My Mk7 Ford has a similar feature, but is perhaps better designed, as you do need to flick the stalk up or down deliberately. In nearly 9 years I can't ever remember it operating when I didn't want it to.
Don't know whether it can be disabled or not.

Just a suggestion. Have you had a word with your local tow-bar centre ?
Legally, when a tow-bar is fitted, they have to install a buzzer which works when the indicators are used whilst towing.
They obviously know wiring inside out so I'm sure they can supply/fit a buzzer but not the complete tow-bar.
