The legendary blues guitarist Gary Moore died yesterday in Spain.
He was an inspiration to young guitar hero's everywhere, many guitarists first picked up a guitar and learned to play after hearing Gary.
I was lucky enough to see Thin Lizzy live at Bingley Hall, Stafford in 1979
Gary Moore's Parisienne Walkways may be one of his best remembered tracks but I prefer to remember him playing his more up tempo material

I'll second that Parksy. He was a hero of my youth and always wanted to play like him - failed miserably though !! Saw him quite a few times during his rocker stage in the 80's.
RIP Gary Moore
