Rain wind and more rain

Just got back from 2 weeks in the Brecons and Shropshire, 2 days without rain. Anyone want a cheap caravan!!!

C. WHAT!2 whole days without rain? You must have been on the Costas.There is a reason for lots of GREEN countryside. RAIN!Look at Ireland 40 shades of green.Here in Lincs it is golden with wheat BUT there are those pesky thrips to contend with.

Have another go it gets better.

Hello C,

The one thing Ive learnt since we started caravanning,that the weather is just pot luck.Sometimes you win,sometimes you loose.

Last year we went to the west of Scotland and it rained every day. In the end we just packed up after 5 days and came home,fed up and damp.In fact I was wondering if all the money Id spent on the van,storage,insurance,etc. was all worthwhile.

This year weve had a week in the Isle of Wight,and it was in the eighties every day,absolutely red hot,a brill week.

These days I just assume the worst,and then if the sun shines its a bonus.So we still take the van out come rain or shine.
