Random electrical jobs

Monday being my day off, went to our local caravan accessory shop this morning - a shout for the very helpful people at http://www.countrysidecaravans.co.uk/ !
Came back with an extra fluorescent tube to convert the 2-tube unit in Roxie's livng room into a 3-tube - nice easy job that - and a new electrical socket for the towbar (due to the original having reversed itself into too many immovable objects, nothing to do with me obviously!).
This afternoon, succesfully installed my new purchases - includng repositioning the
socket so it's protected by the tailgate step. Easily found a wiring diagramme online, undoing the bent nuts and bolts was the hardest bit!
Just need to borrow a trailer now, to check everything works. Inordinately pleased with myself, just because it's something I haven't done before.
So I'm now your resident trailer socket expert! 😉

I know just how you feel, I changed the Tungsten lights to LEDs and was so chuffed despite the fact that it required the competence of a five year old to do the work
