Hi there,

I have recently bought a Volvo S40 R reg (1998, and i have heard that they are supposed to pull anything. I looked at the weight of the car, and surprisingly, it could pull a twin axel. Its got a 2.0 petrol engine in it. Just wondered if anyone had ever towed with one.

How did you work out it would pull anything? I had a V40 (same car) and, keeping below 100%, meant the most I could tow was about 1350kg. I certainly had to change the car when I bought a Bailey Provence and that weighed 1400kg.
