Realities of the Falklands War as experienced by SAS

This week I went to a lecture by SAS veteran Mark Aston who fought throughout the Falklands War. It was riveting especially his in-action photos and detailed experiences. It was organised via a local British Legion and Mark travels around giving these lectures to support RBL branches We also had an authentic Army Curry but unfortunately the recipe is classified and cannot be revealed.

The flyer for Mark Astons lecture is attached and he is quite happy to be contacted on his email if any RBL branches wish to contact him. I can provide email by private message.

Having visited the Falklands (daughter works there, not military) and seen the topography, and experienced the weather, I have collosal respect for what the military achieved in that conflict.
