Rear locker won't open - Bailey

The rear locker on my Bailey Unicorn Cadiz won't open. The key unlocks it as usual, and the button can still be pressed, but it just won't open. Has anyone else had this problem and found a solution?

Try working some lubricant in and then pushing the key in and out.

Thank you. I wasn't expecting that to work because the key did unlock it before, but it just wouldn't open when the button was pressed.
But it did work!
When I looked at the open locker I could see that it is a plastic hook that moves at the press of the button. I'm going to give that and the edges of the locker door a thorough clean to see if that helps prevent further problems.
I read elsewhere that the very hot weather may also have been a contributing factor, making the door expand slightly.

Glad it worked for you. Add it to the "bucket of hard won experiences"

Periodically I would go around all of the locks and give a quick squirt of GT 85.

If you can afford an aerosol of it, white Lithium grease is extremely effective and doesn't melt or wash off.

It is also good on the handle mechanism of multi-point patio/conservatory/porch doors if they loose their ability to spring back to the rest position.

400ml is a tenner though!

Surely not to use a grease to lubricate the lock, it would attract dirt.

No, No, No dont use grease, get some graphite lock powder and you wont have much trouble with it.
