Just bought a new carpet for our van this morning, shop around for remenants or buy off the roll just depends on what quality you require. We were lucky in that our carpet was not under any furniture or fittings, it was stapled around the edges with narrow staples. I will be using a heavy duty staple gun and going around the edges again with a bit of spray adhesive down the centre to prevent carpet lifting

we have done this in each caravan we have bought, we like to walk it may feel lovelyon our germs not everyone elses, we have had to cut away as close as possible the old from the fitments, and replaced it easily, mind you that is my husbands trade, we tossed up between vinyl this time or carpet but carpet still won, although have put vinyl in the bathroom for muddy boots or wet awning, just remember you don't need underlay and gripper as you open the fridge door
