I thought it might be fun if forum members could identiy themselves while on site. A discreet window sticker would suffice, and could lead to the start of all sorts of interesting conversations.

Perhaps Mod could put the suggestion to PC magazine. Such a sticker could be free or perhaps for a small charge to cover postage and a donation to a charity ?

brian, unfortunatly not all of us can go to the meet so I think this a good idea.

Frank was on site with a fellow forum user at the w/e and said he would of enjoyed them visiting his van,as the other usedr noticed his outfit.

My round trip for the meet would be 500 miles, couldnt leave untill friday morning and would have to return Monday morning.

Only thing is though, what if someone makes themselves known to you and you're not really keen on them and you can't tactfully ask them to disappear?

Then you ask them to leave because your off out. Your Not exactly inviting them in for dinner, or going to be the new best friend even though you may end up being so.

We looked at the Forum Meet but it is a little to difficult for us, being a 700+ miles round trip. Maybe we could have a Scottish or a Welsh Forum meet sometime later in the year ?? and then have a UK Combined Meet once every two or three years. I'm sounding more like the CC every minute. I have not put this forward with the intention of upsetting anyone. Just the distance involved is off putting. We wish every success for you all going to nottingham

Mark, please dont get me wrong, I wasnt moaning about the meet being in Nottingham i was just saying the sticker thing would be a good idea, as we all cant either have more than 4 days off or do not want to spend the best part of 2 days travelling.

I hope you all enjoy yourselves and if it ever came closer to devon ill see you all there.
