hi all, we have been three times to cambrils all of which have been from dover. the best route we have found was down the eastern side of france. i still have the route somewhere and will dig it out. i believe it is 1060 miles from calais to cambrils park and it took us, each time 24hrs travelling from getting off the ferry to pitching up. we travel at between 65-70 exclusively on the A roads. to give you an idea of costs involved, a 3.5 trooper (lpg) towing an avondale argente (1600kg) cost all but

Dave,

Are you taking pounds or euros here? We can do 600 miles on 55 pound worth of fuel so (unless LPG is really expensive over there) it should not cost much more than 100 pounds.

The toll roads seem a heck of a lot more expensive than we were last there too.

Can you confirm these prices are in pounds? If so, I think we'll be cancelling our holidays.

Pete
