Recovered caravan and 4x4

Watching traffic cops last night well done to the Derbyshire police in catching and recovering a dual axle caravan and 4x4 pick up at 0315 in the morning, when the police inspection the 4x4 in was full of equipment for taking caravans, good result,

Goods to know they have got someone. Possibly the fact that it was being towed at that time in the morning gave it away.

Great to hear of a successful result.

If they had all the gear to take caravans, clearly they must have been involved with stealing caravans for some time. Perhaps this will prevent a few more thefts. 🙂

The theft of a twin axle and a 4x4 pick up must amount to £60,000 in my book a serious crime,

Ah yes - but it makes you wonder how many others they have squirrelled away when they were not spotted as in all probability this was not a first and only!

Unfortunately I did not see the actual ending when the community service is dished out but the police did take both the caravan and 4x4 away on a transporter,

I prefer the Saudi method, much more effective. Cut their hands off. Brutal I know, but why should we work all our lives just to have some shiftless thief take it away. We will never tackle crime in the western world until we face it head on.
