Removal shower cubicle

Hi,

Trying to remove shower cubicle and have managed to remove everything but the shower floor. Does anyone know if the plastic tray is normaly stuck to the floor or is it just the sealant round the edges.

Thanks.

Hi

I've no real experience of this but I have been talking to a couple of caravan breakers (See my posting re cracked shower tray)about removing mine and they tell me that sometimes the shower tray is actually stuck to the floor and only comes out in pieces so my advice is to go very carefully unless you have a replacement

Hello

I,ve just spent the morning removing my shower tray and YES it was stuck down. Not with any superglue but with a non setting adhesive which feels like you are pulling on a very large elastic band. The tray has come out but with a couple more cracks and splits than it had previously so I have taken up the advice given to me and gone to Caravan Panels at Preston to buy a new one- cost
