Removing sticker stains

Hi, I have just removed some unesessary stickers from my Winnabago . When removed I was left with some ingrained glue and brown stains. I am wondering if anyone knows knows of a method to remove these stains. I have tried gasoline, wd40, metho and turps. Any further advice would be thankfuully appreciated. Arch

You can buy spray cans of Label Remover, a solvent product which should remove the glue residue, if not also the stains. It can be bought on line from CPC at http://cpc.farnell.com/

Just remember that what ever you use to remove the sticky stuff, wax it afterwards

We use this all the time sticky stuff remover.They seem to stick labels on everything these days.

I Have found that white spirit works well for removing sticker residue. Don't know whether it would work in your case but possibly worth a try.

Try WD40 on a cloth, and when all the glue has gone, just go over with a standard cleaner to remove the WD40.
