hi,

got a wee suggestion for all of ye.

since joining this forum i have had great pleasure in coming across a bunch of fantastic characters, has really driven home to me that going the caravan route was the right choice.

always replies to any queeries from me, whether ye had heard them a thousand times, still some folk took the time and effort to reply, great stuff.

its this sort of comaraderie that makes the site, and gives the caravanning fraternity the well earned respect it has earned.

there are young uns, old yins, men, wummin and bonnie lassies all keen to divulge their knowledge and experiences wi each other. also, there is a plethora of well chosen user names which have more than a hint of wit about them, this to me is a reflection on the person, once again, brill.

anyway, long way for a shortcut there. my post regards "sproket", i have been following his posts regularly and he has replied to any of my queeries (along with many others). what i have noticed is that he has a knack of posting up a link to almost any subject asked in the forum, and this is done in no time at all. i think he deserves a user name that is more appropriate to his skills, I.E. instead of sproket, hows about "linkman, or linker", anyone got any thoughts on what could be a suitable title for him ?.

Sprocket to me suggests part of the drive chain that turns the wheel of this forum.

From now on he should be referred to by the user name "Main Sprocket" son of outer sprocket, brother to middle sprocket, of the family end shaft sprocket.

Good on you mate, enjoy reading your comments.

Square sausage is disgusting. Scottish version of the doner kebab, just the floor sweepings of the bits they couldnt find a use for.It stinks the place out when cooking and leaves an awfy mess. The wife, who hails from Kirkcaldy, a place known for its smell, cooks the sausage, stinks out the house then covers the bloody thing in broon sauce,

bob, stand up young man and gie yersel a clap on the back.

your reply drew me to something which has been unseen by others regarding sprokets user name.

he really is a cryptic so and so. a sprocket is used in conjunction with a chain, which in turn is made up from a sequence of "links", so there we have it ladies and gentlemen (and lordy), the fly wee bism has probably known that all along.

by the way duggie, how the jesus can a Scotsman miscry sliced suasage, ya traitor.

big happy new year tae all of you, enjoy and take care.
