renewing crystal water inlet

I need to remove the crystal water inlet socket in my swift challenger. The problem is I can't disconnect the water pipe from it.The fitting on the plastic pipe seem to be push fit,but they won't just pull apart.Has anyone got any Idea how they come apart.

Hi david

You just push the inner end collar back towards the fitting you want to remove and that will release it.

If its very stiff use a pair of pliers round the stub on the inlet to push with.
