Renovating 2016 Lunar Quasar skylight frame

Hi

Need to remove a piece of wood surrounding large skylight as a leak has cause the frame to warp causing further water penetration. Can any one tell me : -

1) what sort of glue is used to bond the wood to the aluminium roof skin.

2) best way of separating wood from the roof skin without causing damage to the roof.

It’s not a glue it will be something like Soudal or Sikaflex. Use a very thin spatula to aid removal and clean residue with white spirits.

Yes but if you are concerned then try a thin cheese wire. Pre soak using white spirit.
