Replacement abbey caravan keys

Can anyone assist, tried to get replacement keys for my Abbey Spectrum 418 and not having any luck, none of the locks have numbered identification so it’s impossible to get replacements. I’ve also tried a master key that’s supposed to open any lock, didn’t work! Any suggestions? I’ve also tried to find a locksmith that will replace all the locks for me but no caravan service suppliers in my area do it, feeling a bit lost. I’m in Cirencester, Thanks in advance 👍

Asking a silly question just to be sure, do you not have any key for it at all?

is everything locked shut? Is not you could remove a lock and locksmith can make a key to fit the lock? Have you tried an auto locksmith might be able to help .

No sadly I’d meant to get a set cut for emergencies but lost the only set I had before I got it done I’ve turned the house and car upside down trying to find them I have a horrible feeling they went out with the rubbish after I had a clear out at the end of the season 🥲

The number you need is on the inside of the barrel, once you gain access to the caravan simply screw off the inside cover and reveal the lock barel, there should be your number. Just a matter of getting inside first

It’s about 12 years old so about 2011 I’ve managed to gain access to the van by breaking in through a window and got a key to try from the number on the lock but the other keysxx CD will be an issue as there are no numbers anywhere for them .

Have you tried a caravan dealer they might be able advice you what to do and give you some suggestions good luck

Yes they we’re not helpful 😟

Have you got a god local locksmith or key cutter who might be able to advise? We got some good advice from one near us; although it was a different issue

Follow Mel’s advice.
I live at Cricklade and had a lock problem recently. Take the locks you have and show the guys at this place . They are brilliant!

If you have the code for the door key but this doesn’t open other locks on the van at least additional keys may be of the same series which hopefully narrows down the options for you.
