We recently bought a second hand Bailey Senator Indiana and we absolutley love it. The only problem is the mattess is a bit saggy in the middle. Does anyone know where we could buy a reasonably priced new nearside mattress? Many thanks, Cathy

Hi Cathy,
Other than in the caravan industry I cannot think of anywhere else a mattress with a corner cut off as you would need is used. Therefore I cannot imagine any retail outlet selling the type of mattress you need. I think you would either need to purchase through a caravan accessory dealership or asking Bailey customer services where they purchase their mattresses from and try and buy direct from their supplier.
Try emailing Kelly at Bailey customer services( email address on Bailey website) and see what could be done for you.

I suggest you change to foam - it will be less bulky and you can choose your grade of firmness. Plenty of suppliers advertise in the magazines; I have had excellent service from www.cbscc.co.uk. Teu will supplu just foam or completely finished with a good choice of fabric.

Hi all,

I had a problem with mattress in brand new caravan, to remedy I purchase a standard size double all foam memory foam mattress for £160 from a local bed supplier. This was easily cut down to suit our van. It even had a zipped outer cover which we refitted & sewed in place for the corner that we removed. We now have a comfortable bed ;o)

The thread is over 3 years old so it has to be presumed that they have bought a repalcement mattress.
