Not one too moan about a tight entrance,but looking on Google Maps the turn off from the main road looks rather tight.
Going for 1st time next year,anyone got any advice from experience

Coming from Torcross it looks OK but to get there the A379 through Strete isn't fun.
Coming from Kingsbridge you have to effectively turn 180 due to the sites one way system. I have followed 8ft wide vans from the site down that road so it should be possible.

We've been there a number of times. Coming from Kingsbridge you just need to be ready and if you really want to be sure, check both directions are clear and do a bit of a farmers turn to give yourself plenty of space. To be honest, I've done it many times with both a campervan and more recently a 2-berth caravan and you don't even need to swing out.
In my view, the scary part of getting to the site is the A379 through the villages and across the bridge but it is all doable (buses get through there after all)

Don’t worry yourself too much. According to the last review vision on leaving is difficult. But this isn’t exactly a busy fast road like some .Enjoy your stay and relax.

My only criticism is the entrance can be a bit difficult to get out of just because you can't see that well in either direction. A well placed mirror in the hedge opposite would be a bonus.

I'd agree that you are probably overthinking it. It really isn't too bad. The road outside *can* have fast approaching cars but visibility is fine for getting out as long as you are positive.
As an aside, we really like it at Start Bay. Easy walk to the beach at Torcross, across to Beesands, into Stokenham for a choice of pubs serving decent food, farm shop... Or a drive to Kingsbridge, Salcombe... Also, worth checking out Gara Rock

Well run caravan sites will normally either publish access directions on their websites, especially if ther e are any particular difficulties. Check with the site.
