Replacement seat covers.

Afternoon caravanning chums,

We have got ourselves a 2004 Ace Supreme Sunstar and are over the moon with it although there a few little things we want to sort out.
One thing is the seat covers, they are in good condition with no rips or holes but are rather sun faded.
So we have stripped the covers of with the idea of dyeing them a nice blue colour but the boss (wife) has pointed out that it may be better to just get new covers.
So is it possible to get new replacement covers for our van?

Rog.

If you are anywhere near the Midlands, Regal furnishings in Ilkeston seem to get good press.
Not used them myself though.

I've just had my own done by www.ccsbc.co.uk at Bristol. As some of the seats were interior-sprung with tired springs, I also had them replaced with new foam. They also sent me sufficient material for me to retrim the curtain and shelf pelmets.

Hi Rog

Cold water dyes are IMO hit and miss.
I'd love to see your before and after and again after 6months use.

Have you thought about using throw overs instead?
I suspect faded covers may attract a better resale value than a cold dye DIY job.

Little update, decided to follow Dusty's advice and leave well alone, gave the covers a good clean and put them back on, tbh we don't actually think they look that bad now and sort of give the van a bit of character...lol.
