Hello,

Can anyone advise me of a company other than main swift dealers who can supply caravan spares. I have just been quoted by a swift dealer £43 for a replacement washing up bowl for a 2000 challenger 400SE. Admittedly it is an unusual shape but even so I think this is over priced or maybe not? I would welcome so comments please.

Thanks

I'm not sure what shape sink is in your caravan but our Abbey 620 has a round sink and swmbo bought a silver plastic bowl from a market stall for

our 'swift' odd shaped washing up bowl sprung leaks from the small 'studs' underneath and was cracking. I also found that replacements are very expensive and sorry to say, I never found a cheap replacement so didn't replace it. I bought some waterproof sticky tape and covered the leaking cracks with it on the outside and so far, 6 months down the line, the bowl is still not leaking! If and when it does, out will come the sticky tape again!

our 2001 abbey spectrum has a kidney shaped sink with the flush fitting glass top and folding tap i think that would be the same as in your challenger, we just bought a cheap round bowl from a local shop it fits fine and is generally large enough for most washing up no way would I pay
