Rest Break Pullins

Does any body know of decent pullins along the A1 between Stamford and Edinburgh. You know what I mean, somewhere to stop for a cuppa and walk the dog.Without getting blasted by the wind of passing HGV's etc.
 
At Scotch Corner take the west bound A66 for about 400m where there is a large layby, off the A66 (part of old road), with toilets, snack bar, and space to exercise both dogs and kids. Then you can easily rejoin the A1.

Sorry I took so long in answering. My computer just stopped working , no indications, it just stopped never to go again. I rescued the hard drive and I am slowly finding information an web sites etc.
