During the last F & M outbreak I was told we could not even take tinned meat products abroad - even stuff that had been canned long before the outbreak. Leaving behind a tin of M & S meat casserole, amongst other things, we went to Holland, popped into M & S in Amsterdam to find - yes you've guessed - tins of casserole bearing the same date stamp !
