Reupholstering Companies

I've contacted 3 different local to us (Lancashire) reupholstery companies and not one has got back to me. ๐Ÿ™

Can anyone recommend a company to reupholster our caravan seats potentially to include new foam and matching curtains?

I'm weighing up the costs of having it done professional vs the time it would take me to do it... I've got the sewing skills to be able to do it myself, but not necessarily the time to actually get it done!!!

There are several companies who do this but use a courier service. You cam google caravan upholstery but this firm in Bolton might help you although I have never used them so cannot comment on the service. http://www.caravanupholstery.co.uk/
Jonic are perhaps one of the best known and are reputable.

I've actually contacted them! Sent an email and left a phone message but no response sadly! ๐Ÿ™

I'll have a look at Jonic thank you.

I used this company in Bristol. http://www.cbscc.co.uk/caravan_and_boat/touring_caravan_furnishings_upholstery.html
My seats were interior sprung but the springs had become tired and I wanted good quality foam in them. The rest of the cushions I just wanted recovered. I took them all to Bristol because I wanted to see the quality of covering and the different patterns ( and they had hundreds) and also test the foam. The job was done and they returned all the cushions by courier. They also gave me sufficient material for me to recover the pelmets myself. The top picture on their website is of my own caravan after the work was finished.

I don't personally know of any upholsterers in Lancashire (chances are you've contacted the ones I'll find on Google) If it's of any help, I know that you can buy caravan foam online, cut to any size you need. If you do happen to find an upholsterer, perhaps you could throw it their way, which may reduce your costs?

Just a thought.

I've linked to an example ๐Ÿ™‚

That looks a really excellent job. We are now looking at the washable dog covers. And the company are only 15 miles from us too. Thank you for the link.
