reverse light

Assistance required please

we have a problem with our reverse light. all other lights work fine. have rtied changing bulb and cleaning contacts in light unit but cant get it to work.

Paul you dont say if your reverse light has worked before ,If it hasnt then it maybe who ever fitted the towbar wiring has not connected the reverse light wires into vehicle socket.

I used to tow with a Renault Espace and the wires terminated to far up the loom to get to the wires for reverse light switch wires.

the reverse lights are wired through the grey socket. so if you don't have a grey socket, or don't have it connected the reverse lights won't work.
