Rising Fuel Costs........Possible Saving

Only my own experiences........

Car is BMW 525i, Auto, 2001.

Average MPG = 28......on U/L.......towing approx 21mpg

Converted to LPG....Cost £2000.....given my mileage meant 14 months to break even.....given slight loss of MPG vs cost saving per lt.....Broke even 4 months ago.

Now, taking cost saving per lt and slight MPG loss......getting approx 61mpg solo..48 towing.....(£1.08 for U/L...45p for LPG)

As I do more driving solo....huge saving.....

If you do a big mileage per annum (14 to 18k)....and tow....and don't change you car every couple of years......this might be the option for you.
