riverside park wooler

Re Riverside Park at Wooler. We were there a cople of times last year. The site itself is ok, a great location for touring Nortumberland and only 10 minutes walk from Wooler which has a great butchers for the meat for the barbie and the coldest spot for miles on a hot day the coop, air con is a great thing. Having said the site is ok, it can get very busy in summer, with a mix of caravans and tents so that leads to the toilet/shower facilities--just adeqate, you could have a long wait for a shower. They have a club and swimming pool 5 minutes walk away and just across the road. Hope this is of some help.Ian
