Further to that from the Eriba Forum: "To all friends, correspondents and anyone who has met Rob at an EribaFest,

It is with a very heavy heart that I have to inform you that Robert died unexpectedly on Saturday 3rd January 2009.

He had been suffering with heart failure due to an imperfect aortic valve for the last 2 years but he was active and still working with the condition under control by medication and visits to the hospital.

I always expected him to die before me but I was hoping for at least another 10 years together, 54 is a very young age to die.

He was the love of my life and we very happy together.

If anyone would like the details of his funeral then send me a PM.

I would like to say a big thank you to all of you who have sent me messages of condolences. Robert's funeral was on the 15th January. It was a humanist ceremony and was a celebration of his life and was well represented by both people and messages from the Eriba Forum."
