Hi,
We've just come back from our first trip in our caravan, everything worked well but we didn't get the porch awning up because a)it rained constantly for the first 2 days and b)the site specified that steel pegs should be used. Before I rush out and buy anything, I thought I'd best do a bit of research and get a bit of advice. I've traweled through the internet and there are different terms used (rock pegs, hard ground pegs, steel pegs), but are they basically the same thing ? Based on comments on this forum I think we'll be going for the ones you hammer home with a mallet rather than the screw-in type. Ones with a ribbed end seems to be better for high winds, is this what other people have found or do the smooth ended ones work just as well?
