ROOF LIGHT MESH

WHILST PUTTING ON HIS SWEATER, MY HUSBAND INADVERTANTLY PUT HIS HAND THROUGH THE MESH ON THE PULL DOWN BIT OF THE ROOF LIGHT. DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN BUY SOMETHING TO REPLACE AND/OR REPAIR IT.

You could certainly try "Caravan Parts Online" for replacement mesh screens - they should only be around

Many years ago I did the same in France and we were plagued at night by bugs getting in.

A piece of old fashioned fine curtain net carefuly stretches square and glued in place made a satisfactory repair. We never came across net to repair it and the only thing on offer was a complete new roof Light. It looked OK and the Caravan was sold some years later still doing a fine job wit it even beeing taken down and washed a few times.

Hi Barbara, Yes you can get just the flip down mesh and frame from most GOOD caravan outlets, standard size 400mm x 400mm if your struggling the suggestion from Euro sounds like the next best thing.

a few years ago the same thing happened to us. We bought some net from Harringtons and glued it onto the frame it worked for years.
