Rooksbury Park CC Site

I would like to thank the wardens a Rooksbury Park for all their help. They gave excellent info re turning up late at the site. On a late arrival there ,12.30a.m after travelling from North Cheshire. excellent entrance instructions to late night arrivals. Great service in the morning(nice and cheery and positive)the only thing I could critisise is how to find the loo's at 1.00a.m. There again I could have been that tired I missed them. Anyway thank very much, made the trip to Portsmouth ferry a lot easier.

Here here Rob - had exactly the same experience in mid July - even to the point of trying to find the toilets. even though we had been here several times before, remembering where the loos are is sometimes difficult at that time of day.

We use this site most years as we usually sail from Portsmouth. Travelling from the North West (Bolton) is not often easy during daytime and so we often travel south at night - less hassle!

My only concern was that when we arrived this year there was only one space left on the overnight area. It was packed. Maybe an extension would be useful!

when we arrived there were about 8 pitches free. This was a monday ready for travelling the Tuesday.I would expect the weekend to be a lot busier.
