Hi Julian, we been there alot in the past, nice little site but the forest workers have cut down loads of tree, there is a bit of road noise, but that don't worry us, you can walk thro the forest to the air base and see the aircraft landing/taking off, also good for dogs, but beware of kids on motor bike they shoot out from anywhere round the forest, Pub down road have'n tried it but heard good food, that was then about now? you will need your levelling block and tv is hit and miss, The best way to walk to the forest is turn right out of the C C site and on your left up the road you see a metal iron gate you can walk thro and pass the bunglow and enjoy, another good site like Round Plantation is called The Covert C.C. one word of warning if you leave the sky light open while you are out the squirrel can get in and do check the electric hook up lead as they got a taste for it, other than that Happy Caravaning, Trevor
