Round silver disc

Hi all,

New member here, been lurking a while though πŸ™‚

I'm trying to get my cassette full led working.

I'm stumped as to what this round thing is.

Does anybody have a clue please?

Hmm. Do be aware that there are differences between brands and models, but on my Swift (Thetford) toilet the red LED is there to tell you that the flush tank is low, it's not there to indicate the collector tank level.

I did not know that. I guess I'll have to do a bit more research. There is a reed switch in the housing.

Thank you

On all our caravans the red LED is there to advise that the cassette is full? Never had a caravan with a LED that warns when the water in the flush tank is low.

Mine is the cassette full led. Looks like I will have to remove the switch to test the system.

Thanks guys πŸ‘
When my light for the cassette full stoped operating, I resolved to just looking inside, however, I empty the honey bucket every day, no point in finding it is full at 2 AM.

Same as Hutch in that I took the flexi button apart and cleaned PCB contacts and connectors such that it worked. But my normal routine was to empty the cassette in the mornings. Audio visual inputs give a good indication when it needs emptying.

Ti's what I do too.
Only really used for tiddles and check every time I go πŸ€ͺ
I just like things to work. I'm a little ocd I think.
