Try www.multimap.com or www.theaa.com ( or perhaps that should be .co.uk )Both have routefinders but compare the suggested route with a good road atlas. Do allow extra time for the journey - once you get east of the A.1. and into the East Anglian area and you get behind a commercial or agricultural vehicle you have two speeds. Rather slow and very slow. Once you get there it's well worth it though.

firstly, the aa route planner no longer provides a caravners route plan (please complain as then they might restore the service). secondly, i have towed to this site from lancashire on several occasions and the ordinary aa route plan is fine for caravans. from memory there are no tricky bits at all. As a point of advice, you are best to stick to the route planners motorways, a and b roads till you get near any site and then to follow the site's own directions as given in their brochur eor on their web site. Enjoy the site, it is one of our favourites.
