Route to Limoges

Hello we are travelling to Limoges the last week of July. We arrive in La Havre off the night ferry and intended to travel south via Rouen, Orleans then toll road to Limoges any suggestions if this is a good route would be appreciated. Steve M.

Seems a sensible route. We have done the Le Havre to Orleans bit with no problems.

Not my preferred route. I'd go south from Le Havre to Lisieux then on to Alencon. From there you pick up the motorway to Le Mans, Tours and Poitiers. Then a bit of cross country to Limoges.

Nice thing about driving through France is that it is all lovely.
