Route to Valencia

Hi all

My wife and I are going to Moncofa nr Valencia in December. We're trying to plan a route via Cherbourg down to San Sebastian and then south via Olite.

problem is that different route planners tell us to go different ways, one via Teruel, the other suggesting Zaragosa down to Tarragona.

Has anyone got a route they would like to share???

PLEASE

regards

Hi,

We travelled down last spring and the easiest way we found to make a route was through the the route planners at the AA and Michaelin websites. The service is free and you can add in your own "via's". We found the Michaelin route to be better laid out and easier to follow.

Here's ours. Somewhere near Dax - two or three to choose from, then into Spain - ideally on a Sunday morning to miniminse the HGVs - to Savinan near Calatyud, then just beyound Tereul to Manzanera, then Valencia.

The main road down to Terul was under heavy works early this year, but this is largely constructing a new autovia alongside the existing road, so not too much disruption. All sites listed in CC Europe volume 1 and claim to be open all year.
