Rowntree Park York - thanks to the Wardens

Just wanted to put on record my thanks to the Wardens/Assistant Wardens at Rowntree Parkk CC Site.
We were there for six nights last week in what can only be described as awful conditions with snow some 18" deep.
The Wardens were out trying to clear the snow and ice from the pathways from before 7.30am every day.
We sometimes read on this forum what I consider to be unfair comments leveled at Wardens and believe in giving credit where its due....Thank you for your efforts.

we go to rowntree park many times and the wardens are first class.good fish and chip van visit too.

Have you seen This Topic Brightmore? Practical Caravan magazine editor Claudia Dowell is looking for accounts with a few pictures of touring in the snow and your stay at Rowntree Park might fit the bill.

We must concur with brightmore. We were at Rowntree for 12 snowy days got off last Saturday. the Wardens were brilliant and helpful. Working hard for our benefit. Already booked in for next winter
