£800.00 is very expensive for a not so good design. The side external guy lines tend to be over tensioned and actually try and pull the side legs into a bent arc causing the all too familiar partial collapse and recovery in high winds.
Again too many trip hazard guy lines. Not for me but another competitor for Kampa et al ;) Maybe it's time these air guys looked at the Bradcots and Izzies and saw how they are pitched?

Well said Dusty and same here. Fed up with air awning after air awning looking scruffy, flimsy and generally over priced. :( Please remember PC that there are still plenty of us that are interested in proper solid poled awnings like my beloved Isabella Magnum that doesn't need all these unsightly trip hazard guy ropes. Just one more thing to get in the way of my wheelchair and for the dogs to wrap their leads around. Saw plenty damaging awning contents and being damaged by the awning contents only to then be taken down in Storm Doris while all the Isabella's stood proud against the worst the storm could throw at us. :cheer:

Martin an DD our porch Air awning works well. It stand up to fair winds etc , but storms Dont really know. At least it will cover your visit to the van Martin, and the two spaniels have never got wrapped in our guy lines . For the 3 day trips Air awnnig. Longer then the carbon poled one. If the awning light is on you are welcome in if its off , we have run out of wine, :p

Although a fan of our Air awning, I agree with Martin. When was the last time PC reviewed a poled porch awning? It's now Boring and repetitive.

Although we’ve only had our van for just under a year, we had plenty of outings in 2017 and pitched our Air-Awning during most. I have never yet attached any of the guy ropes, or erected the steel poles which, according to the supplied information are supposed to be fitted against the side of the van during windy conditions. We were lucky enough to not experience any wind at all during some of our trips, but on a couple, it was rather windy, especially on the west coast of Anglesey, and we didn’t have any problems at all. Perhaps a lot depends on how well the base of the air awning is pegged down, as I would imagine I spend much more time than most on this aspect.

For me, having to fit the guy ropes and erect the steel poles would negate the advantages and convenience of it being an air awning,
